Do I need to have a wearable?
Of course not but it certainly helps with the tracking. If you can track calories expended as and calories consumed, it will help with understanding the results you are getting. you can find FitBit wearables for less than $100. Invest in yourself.
Do I need to be part of a gym?
You sure don't. It definitely helps broaden the exercise modalities, but we can definitely work with what you have.
Can I train if I have an injury or health condition?
That is up you and your doctor. Before I write you any program, you will fill out a Par-Q assessment. This will determine if you should speak with your doctor prior to engaging in exercise.
